A special group of people belong to the Woodcrafters Guild. They have set up their space in the original homestead where Joseph Baynes and his first wife, Maria, used to live. The Woodcrafters have collected a diverse range of antique woodcrafting tools and display these tools in the various interleading rooms.
The old cattle store room has been transformed into a space where the woodcraters demonstrate the art of making wagon wheels, a very complex endeavour in the days before machinery. On Open Days the woodcrafters enthusiastically explain how the various tools work and it is an interesting experience to walk amongst the various rooms and chat to the gentlemen.
